Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowships at Roche

In 2020 Dr Marco Prunotto (Global Head of Technology and Translational Research at Roche and PD in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences) and Prof. Yogeshvar Kalia launched the Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme.

The first two postdoctoral positions were in late stage clinical development at Roche and the recipients of the fellowships were Dr. Elsa Martins (Faculty of Medicine) and Dr. Francesca Tessaro (Faculty of Science).

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Martins and Dr. Tessaro and their mentors from Roche will be at UNIGE Mon 4 April for a networking event.

The programme will include a short presentation from Roche about the activities and profiles that they are looking for in candidates for postdoctoral positions and then Drs Martins and Tessaro will talk about their experiences to date in the company.

We will also be joined by Dr. Alexandra Hogea by videolink from Roche, Welwyn Gardens (UK) – she was a postdoctoral scientist at Roche before being appointed to a permanent position and she will talk about her career "post-fellowship".

After the presentations, there will be a Q&A session and we hope to have an apéro to provide an opportunity for informal discussion.
