Optimizing combination therapies in metastasized colorectal cancer.

De project consists of 3 parts. Part 1 includes the optimization of combination therapies in a selection of cell-lines and on freshly isolated human tumor cells both in vitro and in vivo. Part 2 and 3 are less defined, but (2) includes improving the delivery of optimized therapies to the tumor using nanotechnologies and (3) includes validating tumor epithelial markers and trying to use this to direct the nano-particles with the drugs to the tumor.
