The aim of this work is to extend the residence time of the hyaluronic gel in the articulation by two different ways other than the widely used crosslinkinked HA (Synvisc ©) which doesn’t extend significally the articular residence time. The first aspect of this study is the association of hyaluronic acid with another biopolymer. The second aspect of the study is the grafting of an antioxidant directly on the hyaluronic acid backbone.
