Description | Course description: Clinical oncologists from HUG will give an overview of current treatments and challenges for different types of cancer. The objective is to give PhD students insights into the clinical aspects of cancer treatment, to better understand the unmet needs, as well as the realities of clinical research in this field. Typical questions to be discussed: What are the treatment options for a particular type of cancer? How do you decide on the treatment for each patient? What are the current clinical challenges? What do you need from basic research? Format:: lecture followed by a round table discussion |
